2020vision Merchants Connected ArchivesAuthor Chris Ryan talks to MTJS boys
It isn't often that our boys gets to meet a best-selling author but today we were lucky enough to have a chat with Chris Ryan, author of both children's and adult's fiction, as well as some excellent survival guides, based on his time in the SAS.
Mr Ryan gave a demonstration of the equipment he had to wear when he was in the SAS and then went on to answer questions from the appreciative audience.
After the talk, some of our junior boys were lucky enough to have books signed by him and they were able to ask him a few more questions.
It was a really interesting encounter and we learnt a lot about the life of an author and the things that inspire him to write his exciting stories. We hope that he will be able to come and visit us again soon.
