Following my graduation from Liverpool Hope University in 2009 I was delighted to start work at Merchant Taylors in January 2010 after a brief term as a supply teacher. I currently teach Year 5 following two terms with Year 4 last year. I coach the Year 4 football team and I also take charge of Stop-Go Animation Club for budding directors of the future. I enjoy playing golf in the school holidays and I represent the staff cricket team too.
I have many interests that keep me occupied predominantly film, reading and music. I've started to play the Ukulele and I hope to duet with the willing Mr Wardle at some point in the future. I'm a keen follower of Bury FC and still cling on to the hope that we will return to the glory days of 1903 - 1906.
I would like to think that I'm a hardworking and enthusiastic teacher who will always try to get the most from pupils. You may like to think that, Mr O, but we know better!! - PW) I hope the boys are ready for the challenge!
