The Macmillan Cancer charity recently help a Christmas Fayre at the United Reform Church in Eshe Road and our Junior Choir turned out in force to help them. The annual event raises much-needed money for this most worthy charity and the choir was invited to come along to lead the shoppers in a good old sing song.
The hall was very full and the boys sang their repertoire of Christmas numbers, ranging from Winter Wonderland to Silent Night. They were accompanied by Mrs Knight on the piano (amazing she could play it as some of the piano's keys were stuck together!), Mr Wardle on the guitar and the whole thing was conducted by Mrs Davies
It was a lovely concert and the boys certainly enjoyed spending their pocket money at the various stalls, with many Christmas gifts being stashed into bags and pockets.
The event raised over £700 - well done to all of the volunteers and to our choir!
