We're Back!
The Junior School opened its doors today for the 2008-2009 school year. It was an exciting time for the 40 or so 'newbies', most of whom went into Year 3, and a stressful time for the worried parents who dropped the boys off in the Junior Hall. All our new boys survived (not so sure about their teachers - Mrs Wynne certainly had a couple of extra grey hairs at 3.25!).
We had an extra special 'newbie' - Mrs Thomas, our new Head Teacher. I'm pleased to report that she didn't get lost too many times, though rumour has it that a kind passer-by pointed her in the right direction when she reached Sainsbury's in Crosby whilst looking for John Bebb House.
The 'old timers' all returned and some of them looked well suntanned. It was good to have the boys back - some of them even wanted to do some work..amazing.
It should be a good year and we are all looking forward to working as hard as we can throughout the year.
