2020vision Merchants Connected ArchivesYear 3 go 'Roman' around the City of Chester
Year 3 had a great time in Chester recently. Here's is what they have to say about it...
Chester Highlights by Ali Mukhtar
I really enjoyed my day out at Chester because I learnt more about Romans . We went into the middle of Chester and we were wearing pretend armour . We said
sin, sin, sin, det, sin very loudly.I was really embarrased and I wanted to go back into the Museum.I was having a really good time, but the best part was lunch time
because I had a very nice lunch in my plastic bag .We were lead by a Roman soldier. He wasn't a real one but he looked like a real Roman soldier. It was a lot of
fun until I got inside and we had to find a gravestone. It was very hard to find, but Callum found it so we were all so excited that somebody had found it for us.Then we had to look for a skeleton of the last Roman soldier. Then after a while nearly everybody had found it. Earlier in the day we went to a little room and a lady told us alot about Romans and how they lived. After that she told us to take turns to go to each area .There was a black section ,red section ,yellow sections and a dress up section .I didn't go to the dress up section but I went to the red section ,the yellow section and the black section. After we finished, we went to the shop where I bought a pop gun and two spinning tops after which it was time to go back to school.

Chester Highlights by Michael Mellor
I really enjoyed my day out. I liked saying SIN, SIN, SIN, DECK, SIN! That means LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT!
I also liked having lunch. I loved seeing the Amphitheatre. I also liked going to the extraordinary shop because there were lots of things I liked. I also enjoyed learning about the Fortress. The North gate is for going to work if you went that way, The West gate was drowning if you went that way, The North gate was getting killed and the south gate was called HAPPY GATE because that was the ONLY safe way out.
