On the coach happy to be going on a day trip
Year 2 visit the Glass Museum in St Helens in February as part of their Science topic: Grouping and Changing Materials.

Attention to detail for this little artist
The children learn about the history of glassmaking, the properties of glass and experience painting and making kaleidoscopes.
They also enjoy painting their own design onto a glas jar which they are able to take away with them as a memento from the day.
The children really enjoy the trip especially the glass blowing.

The tunnels were fun!

All in all a good day was had by all
