Pink Day

One of the issues discussed at the School Council was the lack of equipment for the junior girls to play with at lunch and break times. It was suggested that the girls themselves play a part in raising the necessary money to buy outdoor play equipment.

The girls suggested many fundraising ideas and the first idea that could be put into action is the ‘operation pink day’. They all thought it would be great if they could dress in pink for the day, as it is Mrs Kelly’s ‘favourite’ colour!!!

The day went very well Mrs Kelly was appalled at the sea of pink when she walked into assembly!

Well done to the school council for such a fun fund-raising idea it raised over £300!
