The reception children had a very enjoyable day at Martin Mere on Tuesday. The rain stopped

Feeding the ducks at Martin Mere
as the coach arrived at the centre and didn't start again until we were on the journey back to school.
The staff at the centre told us the story of ‘Magnus the swan,' Magnus is a young swan who migrates from Iceland to winter at Martin Mere. The children enjoyed the story and had great fun joining in with the actions.
We were treated to over a thousand pink footed geese arriving and landing on the lake. The noise was unbelievable!
The staff also had an enjoyable time, especially when they had a chance to play on the adventure playground !
