On 27th February, Year 4 visited the Catalyst museum in Widnes in connection with their geography studies on recycling. They enjoyed an exciting presentation in the interactive film theatre & also took part in a workshop which explained what happens to all the items that we throw away.
In addition, the girls enjoyed the many "hands on" science exhibits in the galleries, as well as a fascinating panoramic view of Widnes & the River Mersey from the observatory on the top floor.
The girls entered into all the activities with enthusiasm & will hopefully be inspired to take an active role in protecting the future of our planet.
Many thanks to the four mums who came to help.
