The nearest train station to Merchant Taylors' Girls' School is Blundellsands and Crosby and the nearest to both Merchant Taylors' Senior and Junior Boys' Schools and Stanfield Mixed Infants and Junior Girls' School is Waterloo, although all three School sites are easily accessed from either station.
From Waterloo Station: Turn right out of the station along South Road and then left along Crosby Road North at the junction at the top. The Boys' Schools can be found on the left hand side of the road after approximately 10 minutes walk (past Tesco's on the right). Stanfield and the Senior Girls' School are simply further up the same road.
From Blundellsands and Crosby Station: Head east out of the station (you may need to cross the tracks if you alight a train from Liverpool). Walk up Blundellsands Road East which then becomes Victoria Road. Turn right at the top. Follow the road round past the Sainsbury's car park, Oxfam and HSBC. Turn right onto Liverpool Road. The Senior Girls' School is located on the right hand side and Stanfield and the Boys' Schools are further down the same road. This should take approximately 15 minutes.
Both Waterloo and Blundellsands and Crosby train stations are on the Hunts Cross to Southport line with trains running every 15 minutes to both. The line conveniently also runs directly through Liverpool City Centre (stopping at both Moorfields and Liverpool Central stations) as well as stopping at the John Lennon Airport station, Liverpool South Parkway.
Merseyside is easily accessed by rail with both Liverpool (Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool South Parkway) and Southport (Southport Station) having national rail stations.
By Bus
The Schools are usefully located on a major bus route which includes buses that run from Liverpool, Preston, Southport and Formby, as well as more local destinations.
