By Road

 

The Schools are conveniently situated on the A565, known at this point as 'Liverpool Road', between Crosby and Waterloo. The road is linked to the M57 & M58 interchange at 'Switch Island', Aintree, by the A5036(T).

From Switch Island

From the end of the M57, M58 & junction of the A59 (called Switch Island) follow the A5036 to Seaforth, Bootle & All Docks for approximately 3 miles. At Seaforth follow A565 Crosby & Southport. Continue along the A565 for 1.5 miles. The Boys' Schools are situated after the fourth set of traffic lights, not including pedestrian crossings. Stanfield Mixed Infants and Junior Girls' School is situated approximately half a mile further up the road towards the Crosby village and the Senior Girls' School is a further few hundred yards. All three sites are situated on the left hand side of Liverpool Road.

From Lancaster, Blackburn, Preston, Carlisle & North

Take the M6. Continue along the M6 southbound until Junction 26 & then take the M58 to Switch Island.

From Hull, Manchester, Leeds, Bradford, Macclesfield & East

Take the M62 to Liverpool. Exit the M62 at Junction 6 & follow M57 Southport. Continue along the M57 to Switch Island.

From London, the South & the Midlands

Take the M1 & M6, & M62 to Liverpool. Exit the M62 at Junction 6 & follow M57 Southport. Continue along the M57 to Switch Island.

From Wirral, Chester & North Wales

Take the M53 to Wallasey & the tunnel to Liverpool. Keep left at the tunnel exit. Follow A565 Southport for approximately 7 miles. The Boys' School is situated on the West (left) of the A565 Liverpool Road after the fourth set of traffic lights (not including pedestrian crossings) after the flyover. Stanfield Mixed Infants and Junior Girls' School is situated less than half a mile further up the road towards the Crosby village and the Senior Girls' School is a further few hundred yards.

From Southport, Formby & North via A565

Follow the A565 south to the traffic lights in the centre of Great Crosby Village. Turn left. The Girls' School can be seen soon after the first row of shops, opposite St Luke's Church. Stanfield and the Boys' School are another few hundred yards along, all on the right and side.
