The Merchant Taylors’ Company in London has a long historical association with the School, our founder John Harrison was a member of the ancient Guild. There are several other Schools associated with the Merchant Taylors’ Company around the country: in NorthwoodWolverhamptonFoyle & Londonderry CollegeWallingford SchoolSt John’s Prep School, Northwood, and the King’s School Macclesfield .

The schools are affiliated to HMC and the Girls’ Schools are members of the Girls’ School Association.

Ryders Ford have provided generous sponsorship for the Boat Club, as well as supplying and maintaining the School’s minibuses. A favourite charity of both the Boat Club and the Rugby Club is The Wooden Spoon. This is Rugby Football’s charity supporting disadvantaged children and young people.

On the musical front, we have collaborated with Birkenhead Choral Society and Formby Choral Society in concerts at the Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool.
