After taking centre stage at a series of local festivals young actor Glyn Rogers has been showcasing his talents to a National audience.

Over the last two years Glyn, 15, has won a string of first place certificates for verse speaking at all the area’s major local music and drama festivals including Crosby, Southport, Formby and the Wirral.
His biggest success has been to qualify as one of only 300 young actors from 4,200 taking the auditions for the National Youth Theatre’s Drama Course in London.
Glyn, whose favourite actor is Hugh Grant, however would rather go to university than drama school. “I want to do something acting related like English or Drama, but acting is such a tightrope that I would love to have a safety net of a traditional academic course.”
