MTS 1986 -
"I came to MTS from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, via Chester Cathedral, where I was Assistant Organist for a couple of years.
The best part of my job is that every day is different: I might be teaching a first year class about crotchets and quavers, analysing the harmony of J S Bach, helping a boy prepare for entry to a Music College, rehearsing for a concert in the Philharmonic Hall, or accompanying a nervous candidate in a music exam.
Out of School, I conduct the choral societies in Birkenhead and Formby, and just about keep my playing in trim at St Luke's Church, Formby.
