Always an emotional concert when we say our ‘goodbyes' to the Upper 6th boys who have entertained us for many years with their musical talents.
This year's performances were again of the highest standard, whether it was singing, playing an instrumental solo or part of a group.
During the interval, guests were able to relax and chat together whilst sipping their ‘champagne'.
During the second part of the concert the raffle of the school print was made and the lucky winners of the Music and Drama 100 Club were announced. Chris Ligertwood, who has been coming to school as a parent for the past 25 years, was the winner of the £50 prize and she is pictured with Maggie.
Not only did we say farewell to the boys but this year we had several members of staff leaving too. David Holroyd presented cards and a gift on behalf of the Parents Association to Maggie Delaney who has supported the PA for many years.
Gifts were also presented to Daniel Chandler and David Craig who are both off to pastures new!!
Finally David Holroyd presented the boys with their lucky corks.
