A Sixth Form GTX Biology Trip took place in November 2009 to Manchester Museum. The Museum was hosting a Darwin exhibition, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Evolutionist's birth. The students were able to look around the exhibition and learn about the life of Charles Darwin. There was also a live animals section in the Museum featuring iguanas, geckos and toads, which were of great interest. After lunch in the Museum cafe, the students attended a lecture on Darwin's book "The Origin of the Species", which was mind-blowing but fascinating!
