A lively and well attended dinner mid October, as usual in conjunction with our OMT friends from Northwood, at the magnificent Merchant Taylors' Hall in the centre of York. We were delighted that Bob Simpson and Jane Tyndall from the Boys' and Girls' Schools and Michaela Riches, Marketing Director were able to join us - it was wonderful to see many of the usual attendees of the Dinner in such good form. Our Vice President Peter Magill proposed the toast on behalf of the Crosby Schools and the OMT President made a witty and informative repost concerning MTS activities in both London and Liverpool. The evening concluded with a rousing rendition of both school songs. The Crosby brigade excelled in supplying significant noise and even achieved most of the right notes, although not necessarily in the right order........ (courtesy Morecambe and Wise, 1968). An excellent time and good wishes were signalled by all for a splendid event. Next year's York Dinner is on October 6th.
