Eminent sculptor exhibits at the Vitreum

THE Vitreum Gallery continues its programme of celebrating the work of the region's leading artists this week with an in-depth study of Liverpool's most public sculptor, Tom Murphy. For the first time, a collection of his maquettes and models of more than 30 public monuments and commissions will be shown together.

From legendary figures Dixie Dean and John Lennon, to the recently completed Ken Dodd sculpture at Lime Street Station, Murphy's works are some of the best known in Merseyside. The retrospective runs until July 8.
