2020vision Merchants Connected ArchivesGCSE Astronomy
In 2005-6 we first offered GCSE Astronomy on a self-study basis to the Sixth form physicists.
Since then numbers have grown and up to 20 girls from Years 10, 11 and 12 have met regularly to study the universe. Last year (2009/10) was the last opportunity to study Astronomy using the old syllabus. From 2010 controlled assessment has been introduced so that the coursework has to be completed under supervision.
