Further Information and Schemes of Work
A major, modern, forward thinking department housed in a significant historic building, situated right at the heart of the school. The department provides expertise in discrete information skills as well as promoting a cross-curricular approach to learning throughout the whole school community. We currently teach ICT in every year and offer options at GCSE and A-Level.
"Students will leave the school with a mature approach to research and be well prepared for further and higher education where independent learning and information and communication technology are skills vital to their success"
We have over 150 networked PCs with colour printing facilities, mainly distributed through our ICT suites, Sixth Form Centre and Library. Every department has at least one Interactive White Board through which they can deliver rich media presentations. Digital cameras, audio and video recording equipment is also available on request.
