The library contains about 13,750 items, mostly books, but also DVDs, videos, CDs and resource packs. The library subscribes to over 30 magazines & periodicals, the four main broadsheet newspapers and foreign language newspapers.
Books
The Library has about 13,750 books covering a wide range of topics. There is a bias towards books to support school subjects, particularly at 6th Form level. There is also recreational material and fiction. The main bookstock is shelved in one sequence upstairs, the reference collection is in the Lower Library, as is fiction and all over-sized books.
Periodicals and non-print materials
A selection of periodicals can be found downstairs near the entrance to the Lower Library, with back copies kept inside the magazine rack. Newspapers are available for one term.
Archives
All enquiries about the school archives should be addressed to Mrs Barry.
