Careers Working Lunch - Guest Speaker Dr Crawford Brown CEO Eden Biodesign
As part of the Careers Programme at Merchant Taylors' Schools', students from Year 9, 10, 11 & Sixth Form regularly have the opportunity to attend Careers Working Lunches. These lunchtime sessions provide an insight into a range of different careers and are attended by an expert ‘guest speaker' from the field who can answer pupils' questions.
Miss Burke, the Head of Careers, initiated the idea of Careers Working Lunches in order to help students consider options and careers of which they may be totally unfamiliar.
The guest speaker in January was Dr Crawford Brown; CEO at Eden Biodesign, who attended the school to discuss careers in Biopharmaceuticals.
