October Half-Term Rugby Camps

Join Esselle Sports at Merchant Taylors’ on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October 2026 for two days of rugby, with a Development Camp for ages 8–13 and a Performance Camp for ages 13–18.

Whether your child loves getting stuck into a game or wants to sharpen their skills for the season ahead, there’s a camp to help them make the most of their half term.

Each camp offers its own coaching programme, with sessions designed to suit the age and stage of the players taking part.

Rugby Development Camp | Ages 8–13

An active half term awaits, packed with rugby games, fun challenges and plenty of time on the ball.

Players will practise their skills through coaching sessions and team activities, building confidence as they put what they’ve learnt into play. It’s a chance to enjoy the sport they love, meet other players and have fun on the pitch.

Rugby Performance Camp | Ages 13–18

Take your rugby to the next level with two days of intensive coaching at Merchant Taylors’.

Designed for players aged 13–18, including 16–18-year-olds seeking a more advanced coaching experience, this camp offers a challenging programme focused on improving performance.

Players will sharpen their technical skills, develop their decision-making and explore position-specific aspects of the game, alongside work on physical development and game understanding.

Experienced coaches will create a positive, high-performance environment, encouraging players to push themselves and put their skills to the test.

What to Bring

Players attending either camp will need suitable rugby boots, a packed lunch, plenty of water and clothing appropriate for the weather.
