Merchants Gives

Merchants Gives is a 36 hour digitally driven event with the goal of rallying the Merchant Taylors’ community behind our bursary campaign.

It will take place from 8am on Wednesday 16 June until 8pm on Thursday 17 June 2021, and will consist of a range of challenges, videos, and interaction right across the Merchants community.  Look out for some brilliant new video content, unseen archive materials, special appearances from former staff, and pupils undertaking challenges to celebrate our 401^st anniversary!

We’ll be raising money for our bursary campaign, and specifically for transformational bursaries, those bursaries that cover 85-100% of school fees (plus extras like lunches, buses and uniform). 46 pupils are at school today thanks to transformational bursaries like these, and more than 250 pupils have benefitted from transformational bursaries since 2013; that’s 25% of all financial assistance.
