Life in Reception

From their very first day in our dedicated Reception unit, we encourage children to explore with confidence, to be interested in the world around them and not to be afraid of making mistakes.

We work hard with pupils and their parents to make sure they settle into their new surroundings quickly and feel part of our wonderful school community.

Children have plenty of opportunity throughout each day to enjoy our play and learning facilities and they take part in a range of subjects taught by specialist teachers, including music, PE and foreign languages.

Our contemporary indoor and outdoor facilities, excellent teaching staff and smaller class sizes combine as we endeavour to bring the very best out of every girl and boy in our care and prepare them for the exciting journey that lies ahead.
