Support for families following the closure of Belvedere Preparatory School

We were very saddened to hear the news that Belvedere Preparatory School will be closing later this year. We recognise that this will be an unsettling and uncertain time for children, parents and staff, particularly given the very short notice with which families are having to consider what comes next.

Merchant Taylors’ Prep School has places available for immediate entry in a number of year groups, and we are working to make the admissions and transition process as straightforward as possible for families who may wish to explore a move.

Our priority is to ensure that children feel settled, secure and positive about the start of the new school year. Families are therefore welcome to visit the school at short notice, meet our staff and pupils and discuss their child’s individual circumstances with us.

Merchant Taylors’ provides a warm and nurturing Prep School environment alongside the reassurance of an established all-through education from Reception to Sixth Form.
