Aerospace Careers Programme Inspires Future Innovators at Merchant Taylors’

Merchant Taylors’ recently hosted an exciting Aerospace Careers Programme, bringing together students from Merchant Taylors’, Chesterfield High School, Holy Family High School, and Sacred Heart Catholic Academy. The event was a resounding success, filled with engaging presentations on cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and virtual reality.

Pupils had the unique opportunity to interact with a Boston Dynamics robot and view a replica NASA space suit, sparking their interest in aerospace and technology. The day also featured immersive experiences with VR headsets and robotics demonstrations, providing hands-on learning that captivated both pupils and teachers.

Industry experts were on hand to answer questions, offering valuable insights into the future of aerospace and technology careers. The event was a fantastic opportunity for pupils from each of the schools to explore potential career paths and gain inspiration from leaders in the field.
