The transition to Sixth Form brings higher levels of responsibility and individual freedom alongside the increased rigour of A-Level study.
Our pastoral care is geared towards their changing needs and is not confined to the school grounds, meaning high levels of support, such as video calls or counselling sessions, continue to be offered to boys during periods of remote learning at all levels of the school, as we understand these difficult moments can bring their own unique challenges for pupils and their families.
Boys also have access to a full-time school counsellor, who is on hand to provide professional, impartial advice on all manner of issues that may arise at school, home or elsewhere. The counsellor provides individual and group counselling to pupils and works closely with the pastoral team to ensure the wellbeing of our pupils is paramount.
This holistic approach allows our boys to emerge as confident, resilient, compassionate Merchants’ Men.
