Sixth Form Open Evening
Sixth Form at Merchant Taylors’ brings together everything that is good about post-16 education, with a broad range of academic, co-curricular and social opportunities for students to explore.
Throughout our Sixth Form Open Evening, we hope you will see that we are proud of our record of academic achievement at A Level as well as the various enrichment and co-curricular opportunities that our Sixth Form students enjoy.
Almost half of all grades were recorded at A* or A and there was a 100% pass rate across the entire cohort of 129 girls and boys in 2022.
Three pupils attained an incredible four A* grades, while a further five achieved three straight A* grades. Remarkably, a further 26 Sixth Form boys and girls attained grades that were exclusively A* or A.
The majority of students will now go on to their first-choice universities, including Oxbridge and a host of Russell Group universities across the UK including Imperial College London, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Warwick and Bristol.
We extend the same warm welcome to students who are already part of the school community and those who are new to the school. All we ask is that you bring hungry, enquiring minds and a love of independent learning; in return we can offer you an excellent academic education delivered by subject specialists in small class sizes, alongside first-class support and guidance.
